God Sent Me an Uber

After being completely and utterly disappointed and frustrated with my current life situation, i decided something had to change. Knowing that I have ran my life into a deep hole of a mess and that I could and SHOULD be doing much better, that’s what I wanted. I wanted to be happy; something I’ve never been before. So I made the call. I got God on the line and told him everything. How forgotten and abandoned I felt, as if he were picking on me. All of my failures, disappointments, the blown / mismanaged opportunities. I opened up and got everything off my chest. The ups, the downs, the would’ve-should’ve-could’ves’....Everything. After going on my little rant and after a brief moment of silence, mixed with some chuckling, I was told that I was being sent a car; an Uber. “Just get in the car and I’ll tell you how to fix it.”  Now once again, i felt like me and my issues were just another crumb on a table full of loaves that was just going to get passed over and wiped away. But ...

God Don't Bless No Mess

In Chapter 2 of the Book of Judges, God had gotten fed up with the Children of Israel because they had been serving other gods. After Joshua died, Moses successor, being that they now had no leader, "and they forsook the Lord, and served Baal and Ashtaroth." (v. 13) . Baal is just another name for Satan, and makes quite a few cameos in the Old Test. Ashtaroth was the goddess of sex/fertility from what I could gather. If you keep reading on, you'll see that God saved them four times, but they still continued to go back and serve the other gods. It upset God so much, in verse 23 says: "..therefore the Lord left those nations." . He LEFT them! But that was in the Old Testament, old news right? Well, here's what the Apostle Paul said: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness  with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14  The answer to your question, in...

Trust The Process

Yesterday was a pretty interesting day. I was having a very...rough morning. I woke up thinking about how productive my day was going to go. I hadn’t worked in 2 weeks and I had a few cars lined up to detail. So, I got up and opened the blinds, per usual. But despite my productive mindset, all I saw was rain dripping down the window. Rain = No detailing. No detailing = No production….. You get where I'm going with this right? Lol. Now to further complicate things, my phone was off!! 😂😂. If were not for the great luxury of Wi-Fi , I would've had no line of communication with the outside world. So I sat there, on the edge of the bed. Netflix was on the screen but I don't know if anything was playing. I just sat there, deep in thought. After a few hours of just sitting there nonchalantly floating away smh, my phone rang. Mind you, my phone was off. Good ole Facebook 😂! It was my brother. --BACKSTORY-- . Me and my brother don't call eac...

The Roaring 20s - Trump's Chicago

...in the wake of what's happening in #chicago ...ima drop this today There was an article published by The Courier-Times newspaper back in May that caught my attention. It was on the front page of the “Living in Person” section, with the headline: “Students Experience Roaring 20s”. Local homeschoolers had put on show bringing the 1920s “back to life”. Also on the front page, was a picture of a group of kids; all “dressed to the nines as flappers and mobsters.” Machine Gun Kelly, Al Capone, Eliot Ness and Coco Chanel, just to name a few. The article begins by stating that: “It was the era of gangsters, Prohibition, and all that glitters.” It then goes on to tell us about the invention of the juicer. Which they even demonstrated by making lemonade. The students were taught about the art deco style, choosing a “celebrity” of the era and creating their own art pieces. The program ended with a feast from a variety of foods popular in that decade...peanut butter cups, chow mein, C...
